Falling Water along Highway 30, Oregon 2008 Home | Previous | Next

4/23/2008
As I was driving along Highway 30 I hit some foul weather. I pulled off into a small picnic area that overlooked the Columbia River. I was socked in by some clouds that were being hammered over this ridge where I was. It was the strangest thing. Not really rain, but a heavy mist so thick that you could see it like smoke moving past you. I jumped out of the car and took several shots trying to capture the experience but the only one that turned out was this one after the wind had settled.
