We asked the hotel clerk for recommendations for a good place to eat. They sent us to the Union Street Tavern. The food was very good, in fact we went back the next day for lunch.

We asked our server what we should see during our visit to their state. She didn't have anything to recommend, so she asked other co-workers and they didn't come up with anything either. I did notice while driving on the freeway that there are some spectacular churches in the downtown Hartford area. I didn't get a chance to photograph them properly, but I'm sure that they would make a good subject for a photo trip.
